Oh boy – where did the spring go (or the winter for that matter?)?
Things have been busy, chaotic and life changing. The biggest update? Yarn. There’s going to be lots of yarn in my future – specifically, I will be opening the Eat This Knit That Etsy shop soon, and filling it with hand-dyed yarny goodness.
Yes, that’s right. I’m jumping on the Indie-Dyer Bandwagon. Simply put, I love yarn, I love dyeing yarn and I love food. So, many of my colorways will be inspired by food and food-related things.
What yarn will I be carrying? Mostly Alpaca. It’s soft, light, soft, doesn’t felt as easily as Merino…did I mention soft? This stuff is like a cloud. I will also be carrying a few bases in superwash baby merino however (can’t resist). I have weights ranging from lace to bulky, and will happily take custom orders. Unfortunately, I won’t have my true passion, sock yarn, available until probably beginning of September. My supplier unfortunately lost a whole cargo of the sock yarn due to moisture damage.
So what’s the current status? I will be able to list everything soon – I’m just waiting on my labels to come in.
Stay tuned…
